Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a network of services coordinated to provide aid and medical assistance from primary response to definitive care; the network involves personnel trained in rescue, stabilization, transportation and advanced management of traumatic and medical emergencies.
Emergency Ambulance Service or (EAS) was introduced in 1999. It quickly became the most popular service requested by the community. This service provides pre-hospital care and transport of the sick and injured.
The Emergency Ambulance Service responds to Medical and Trauma Emergencies, Emergency Childbirth, and Ambulance transport requests. On request, it also provides standby medical first-aid stations for community activities such as concerts, festivals, and races.
